Near West Side Partners hosts “Made in the Near West Side,” a virtual series featuring local restaurants, every Wednesday at 4 p.m. via Facebook Live.
Each week a different Near West Side chef will demonstrate how to make something new — everything from specialty menu items to potluck meals. Each participating restaurant is also offering pre-order meal kits so attendees can cook along at home.
Upcoming events include:
- May 20: Triciclo Peru MKE (empanada and pisco bar)
- May 27: 2Mesa (Mexican food)
“Made in the Near West Side” will continue in June, featuring new activities and more businesses, including Rev-Up winners Pete’s Pops, Hands in Harmony and a Goodman’s Desserts.
