An Earth Day Mass will be celebrated this Wednesday, April 22, at noon from the St. Joan of Arc Chapel.
The celebration will open with a Land Acknowledgment outside the St. Joan of Arc Chapel by Al Kuhn, Engineering ‘93. Kuhn graciously assisted with Marquette’s Native American History Month Mass last semester. The Land Acknowledgment honors Indigenous peoples as traditional land stewards and recognizes the enduring relationship between Indigenous peoples and the land of their traditional territories.
