On Thursday, May 7, students will see a new look and feel when they log into CheckMarq. The new user interface provides the same features as before, but is easier to use on all types of devices, including phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
Note that the transition to a new interface will be an incremental process. The May 7 update is focused on enhancing the mobile experience and includes navigation tiles, mobile grades and academic progress — it’s the first upgrade to be rolled out.
In this first update, students will see the new interface on the student homepage, however some pages will continue to display with old formatting, such as adding and dropping classes. All pages will be converted over time to the mobile friendly formatting.
Similar updates will eventually be rolled out for faculty, staff, and adviser pages.
