Volunteers needed for April 7 Election Day; free training will be provided on March 23

Faculty, staff and student volunteers are needed to assist at Marquette related polling locations for the Spring 2020 Election and Presidential Preference Primary, which is happening on Tuesday, April 7.

Hosted by Marquette’s Office of Public Affairs (OPA) and MUSG, the Milwaukee Election Commission will offer a non-partisan Election Day training for all volunteers on Monday, March 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the AMU, Room 254.

Trained non-partisan volunteers will then be asked to assist students and community members at Marquette related polling stations for the April 7 Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This free training is open to all students, faculty and staff. Register by emailing Aubree Sachen, executive assistant for OPA.
