U.S. News 2021 Best Graduate Schools rankings

U.S. News and World Report released its 2021 Best Graduate School rankings. Several Marquette programs moved up in rankings, particularly those in business, health sciences and engineering.

The College of Business Administration’s finance program is now ranked 21, up from 31 previously. The supply chain management program held steady at 15, compared with 14 last year.

In the College of Health Sciences, speech pathology moved up to 55 from 69, and the physical therapy program moved up slightly from 15 to 13.

The Opus College of Engineering ranking remained steady at 119, previously ranking at 118. The graduate specialty program in civil engineering moved up slightly from 113 to 110. Electrical engineering moved up from 132 to 106.

In the College of Nursing, the Doctor of Nursing Practice program is ranked 69 (previously 60). The Master of Science program is ranked 69 (previously 49).

The Law School is ranked 102 (previously 91). Its legal writing program moved up slightly from 14 to 12. Trial advocacy moved up from 129 to 121.

The College of Education moved from 78 to 112 in the rankings.

Not all graduate programs are ranked every year by U.S. News. Some health sciences and science and humanities disciplines are ranked approximately every three years.
