The March 4 Soup with Substance topic will be Women’s History Month. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4, from noon to 1 p.m. in the AMU, Henke Lounge.
The event will feature presentations by two leaders of the Institute for Women’s Leadership:
Sasha Parsons Waters currently develops programming for the Women’s Innovation Network. She focuses on creating inspirational events and professional development opportunities for women, minorities and those who are currently underrepresented in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Jean Grow, professor of strategic communication. Grow came to Marquette in 2008. She previously worked in advertising and is a renowned scholar whose research addresses gender bias in advertising and the under representation of women in advertising and creative departments worldwide.
