Give Marquette Day is Feb. 27; become an advocate

February 19, 2020

Update | Thursday, Feb. 27: Give Marquette Day postponed to March 3

Feb. 19, 2020
Give Marquette Day is next Thursday, Feb. 27. During this 24-hour day of giving, alumni, parents, students and friends will come together to make a difference for students, faculty, staff and everything that makes up the Marquette experience. In honor of the current year, the university has set a goal of 2,020 donors for 2020.

In celebration of Give Marquette Day, the campus community is encouraged to wear Marquette apparel on Thursday, Feb. 27.

Help Marquette reach its goal by becoming an advocate and spreading the word on social media.

Advocates can encourage their friends and networks to support Marquette. Use the hashtag #GiveMUDay when posting on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Download the social media toolkit, which includes photos and banners, from the Give Marquette Day website.

The university partners with GiveCampus, a digital fundraising and volunteer management platform, for Give Marquette Day. GiveCampus makes advocating easy, as it tracks the number of clicks, gifts and dollars your outreach is driving, allowing users to track their impact in real time. Advocates also have the opportunity to earn prizes.

Advocates can pick up a free Give Marquette Day t-shirt in the AMU (second floor) on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Advocates will be asked to wear their shirt on Give Marquette Day (Thursday, Feb. 27).
