Sponsored by the Counseling Center and the Division of Student Affairs, the next training session for the Diversity Advocates Program will be held on Thursday, March 12, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, March 13, from 8:15 a.m. to noon.
The training will last a total of 12 hours over two days. It’s designed to help participants develop awareness, knowledge and skills around various diversity and social justice topics including: social identities, prejudice, bias, stereotypes, microaggressions, discrimination, oppression, privilege and advocacy/allyship.
