Dr. Melissa Shew, a faculty fellow in the Center for Teaching and Learning, will present a Dialogical Pedagogy Seminar on Friday, Feb. 21, from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in Raynor Memorial Libraries, 330B.
Graduate students and new faculty are invited to participate in this seminar, which will be grounded in the six guiding principles of dialogue from educator and philosopher Paulo Freire. Participants will discuss questions and ideas relating to dialogue in the classroom and how dialogical principles can shape an educator’s understanding of their vocation.
