Provost’s Office leaders to hold open office hours across campus

January 6, 2020

Provost Kimo Ah Yun and members of the Provost’s Office senior leadership team will hold one-hour open office sessions in various locations across campus throughout the spring semester. The informal meetings, which are open to all faculty, staff and students, will provide regular opportunities for individual and small group dialogue on any topics of interest.

“We know that transparency and visibility are critical to building trust and developing a campus environment that welcomes a broad and inclusive set of viewpoints,” Provost Ah Yun says. “If we are to be successful in moving Marquette forward in ways that are true to our mission and who we are as a community, it’s important that we, as leaders, are available to listen. Only then can we make the best possible decisions for the future.”

A schedule of the first set of offerings is included below; it is also available online. Participants include Provost Ah Yun; Dr. Xavier Cole, vice president for student affairs; Dr. Gary Meyer, senior vice provost for faculty affairs; Dr. David Schejbal, chief of digital learning; Dr. John Su, vice provost for academic affairs; Dr. Doug Woods, vice provost for graduate and professional studies; and Alix Riley, director of institutional research.

The Provost’s Office is currently scheduling open office hours with other senior leaders — please watch Marquette Today or the Provost’s Office website as those become available.

No RSVP or registration is necessary, and participants may attend any portion of or the entire hour. Please email provost@marquette.edu with questions.
