Melanie Saunders, deputy associate administrator for NASA, will speak on campus on Thursday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. in the AMU, Monaghan Ballroom.
In her role, Saunders assists the NASA administrator and senior managers in implementing all aspects of the agency’s functions, policy and integration of programs. She also chairs the NASA Mission Support Council, which serves as the agency’s senior decision-making body.
Her talk, “The Artemis Program — An Overview,” will focus on the 2024 Artemis moon mission and the Mars Gateway mission. Learn more about the missions on NASA’s website.
