All colleges and universities are experiencing issues in receiving accurate 2024-25 FAFSA data from the Department of Education. Additionally, a percentage of FAFSAs have not been processed correctly by the Department of Education. The Department of Education has indicated that these known errors will not be corrected until sometime in May. Although students and families are able to make corrections to FAFSA data, schools are not able to process corrections at this time.
The Department of Education has not provided a timeline when correction functionality will be available for schools. These issues continue to cause delays in our ability to process 2024-25 awards for continuing students. We will continue to work towards processing student awards as accurately and expeditiously as possible.
