Celebrate student design at the Opus College of Engineering’s Design Day, May 3

The Opus College of Engineering’s ninth annual Design Day will be held in Engineering Hall on Friday, May 3. The celebration of student design and innovation will showcase an array of year-round design activities that allow students to put their knowledge and skills into action to solve real-world problems. 2024’s Design Day will feature 34 senior design presentations, 27 first-year design posters, and over 40 additional course and student organization design posters and showcases.

Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering presentations will begin at 8 a.m. and all other Design Day programming will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 5:30 p.m.

In addition to student design presentations, John Dey, senior manager electrical engineering at Milwaukee Tool, will present “Designing for the End-User” as a keynote at 12:30 p.m. in Engineering Hall room 136.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marquette’s engineering students. No advanced registration is required.
