The Arrupe Center for Community Service and Social Responsibility will host the first blood drive of Marquette’s Blood Battle competition with Butler University on Monday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in AMU 157 and 163.
Marquette and Butler are renewing their blood drive competition for a fourth year in an effort to collect 825 donations over the course of the academic calendar. This year’s blood battle, which is conducted in partnership with Versiti Blood Center, runs from September until April 15.
Marquette and Butler are both members of the BIG EAST Conference for athletics and meet annually in 14 intercollegiate sports.
