Heather Van Vugt Ramirez, adjunct professor in the Marquette University Law School, was named to BizTimes Milwaukee’s list of Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders.
Ramirez has served on several Milwaukee-area boards that work to improve core services for underserved parts of the community, including Meta House, Legal Action of Wisconsin and Acts Housing. She will soon begin serving as Acts Wisconsin board chair.
Ramirez has been an adjunct professor at Marquette since 2020.
Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders is part of BizTimes Milwaukee’s Notable series, which recognizes leaders in the southeastern Wisconsin business community.
