Official statistics for 2020-21 degrees awarded; summer enrollment now available

July 26, 2021

The Office of Institutional Research and Analysis released official statistics on the number of degrees and certificates awarded during the 2020-21 academic year. OIRA also published enrollment statistics for summer 2021. This includes headcount enrollment data, student credit hours and class size information.

From July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021, Marquette conferred 3,100 degrees and 38 certificates. Of the degrees awarded, there were 1,905 bachelor’s degrees, 764 master’s degrees, 60 Ph.D. degrees and 371 professional doctorate degrees.

Additional data, including degrees awarded by college, school, major and program are available online.

Marquette’s summer 2021 student enrollment was lower than the record-breaking summer 2020 term with a total enrollment of 3,582 students, comprised of 1,716 undergraduates and 1,866 graduate/professional students.

While undergraduate enrollment was down, summer 2021 graduate enrollment was the highest enrollment in the past fifteen summer terms.

Additional summer statistics are available online.

The updated summer reports can be accessed on dataMarq, the university’s new reporting portal (Note: you must be on campus Wi-Fi or connected to the VPN to access the reports.)
