College of Business Administration partners with Waukesha County Technical College to smooth transfer process

Marquette’s College of Business Administration has established a formal partnership with Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) to facilitate the transfer process. This agreement expands course transferability to students studying supply chain management and business management programs at WCTC.

“Our college is incredibly excited about being able to expand our transfer opportunities and to ease the transition process for those students who want to continue their business education at Marquette after earning their associate’s degree at WCTC,” said Tim Hanley, interim Keyes Dean of Business Administration. “Our strategic vision is to work toward becoming a more diverse and inclusive Marquette business community, representing students of diverse backgrounds and educational pathways. We see it as our mission to work collaboratively with external partners like the Wisconsin Technical College System and partners in the business community to help develop the world-class, Jesuit educated business talent needed in the region today.”

WCTC is one of 16 institutions within the Wisconsin Technical College System and serves more than 20,000 students on its Pewaukee and Waukesha campuses. This agreement expands WCTC transfer pathways previously established with the Opus College of Engineering and Diederich College of Communication.

Marquette supports transfer within the state of Wisconsin through individual community college articulation agreements, various high school to college bridge programs and the WAICU Course Credit Transfer Agreement signed in summer 2020.
