The Community of Health Equity Research Scholars (CHERS) was recently launched through support from a 2019 Explorer Challenge grant.
CHERS is a collaboration between Marquette and the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). This interdisciplinary group is focused on collaborative research and scholarship related to public and global health equity.
CHERS will host a seminar series next semester. Presentations will include talks by:
- Dr. Nilanjan Lodh, assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science in the College of Health Sciences at Marquette | Feb. 12
- Dr. Gerald Harris, professor of biomedical engineering, director of Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Engineering Center (OREC) and co-director for the Center for Motion Analysis (CMA) at MCW | March 18
- Dr. Laura Cassidy, professor and director of the Institute of Health and Equity at MCW | April 15
All seminars will take place over the lunch hour. More details will be announced closer to event dates.
