The Office of Mission and Ministry has announced that the Institute for Catholic Leadership will suspend its operations as of November 13, due to a lack of funding. The institute was founded in 2012 with a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor, and was focused on providing leadership, developing Catholic identity and culture, AND OFFERING training and operational support to Catholic elementary and secondary educational institutions.
Donor funding for the institute ran out in 2018. In support of advancing Catholic K-12 education, the university has been funding the institute for the last two years in an effort to bridge the gap until additional philanthropic support could be identified. The institute’s operations may be reinstated in the future if donor funding becomes available.
