The Academic Subcommittee for the Convention Steering Committee announced updates regarding planning for summer 2020 during the convention, which will take place in Milwaukee Monday, July 13, through Thursday, July 16, 2020.
Requesting funds
Funds will be available for programming and course enhancement related to the Convention. Faculty and staff may request up to $1,000 in funds to support programs. The call for proposals is online.
The steering committee has received many requests for gaining access to the convention itself. At this time, the process for credentialing has not yet been shared. The university will provide updates once more information becomes available.
The campus community is encouraged to visit the university website that was created specifically for the convention. The site includes information for students, faculty and staff, an application for funding, requests for event space and more.
In the months leading up to the convention, the Convention Steering Committee will continue to add information to the site and will share via Marquette Today.
Any questions regarding the convention should be submitted online.
