The English Department will host a Six-word Short Story Contest on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Marquette Hall 105.
Ernest Hemingway created the genre when he wrote “For sale: Baby shoes. Never worn.”
Students can enter one or more stories but are also welcome to attend and vote. Winning entries will be published in the Marquette Literary Review, along with receiving a prize.
