The Department of Political Science and the Les Aspin Center For Government will host an information session regarding internship and volunteer opportunities for the 2020 Democratic National Convention will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 5 p.m. in the AMU, Room 227.
The DNC will take place in Milwaukee July 13 – 16, 2020. There will be many internship and volunteer opportunities for students of all disciplines.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the convention process and hear from the following faculty panelists:
- Dr. Julia Azari, associate professor of political science
- Lisa Grabert, research professor of nursing (at Marquette University and Georgetown University)
- Ron Smith, editor/project director of the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service and instructor of practice of journalism and media studies
- Karen Rinehart, director of the Business Career Center in the College of Business Administration
- Moderator: Dr. Paul Nolette, associate professor of political science
