All Marquette faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a campus-wide event, “Think Different, Act Different to go Beyond Boundaries,” on Monday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the AMU, Monaghan Ballroom.
Attendees will hear from Beyond Boundaries leaders Dr. Jeanne Hossenlopp, vice president for research and innovation, and Lora Strigens, vice president for planning and facilities management, about breaking down barriers between the strategic plan themes and ensuring Beyond Boundaries continues to adapt to change. President Lovell will talk about the significant challenges facing higher education and the need to be responsive and nimble in order to thrive during this ongoing turbulence.
Participants will then engage in table-top workshops about what ways we can address challenges in higher education through the framework of the strategic plan themes.
A light lunch will be provided. RSVP via Eventbrite.
Editor’s note: For the grammarians out there, the university’s playful use of “Think Different” is a reverent nod to one of Apple’s more famous ad campaigns about being innovative and pushing boundaries. Watch the original TV spot online.
