Marquette University Neighborhood Kitchen (MUNK) and Dining Services will host its annual Stuff the Truck event on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Eckstein Common (the green space between Schroeder Hall and the AMU).
Stop by and drop of a nonperishable food item to support MUNK. MUNK partners with Dining Services to recover food from on-campus dining centers. Students help prepare food to deliver throughout the community in addition to MUNK’s weekly nutrition education sessions and meal delivery for nearby elderly. The Stuff the Truck event helps ensure the success and sustainability of MUNK programs.
Donors are invited to stay for lunch and shop for fresh produce on the Eckstein Common lawn, with a percentage of the sales benefiting MUNK. Monetary donations to MUNK will also be accepted during the event.
