Fall FitPass registration now open 
The fall FitPass gives users access to all classes listed on the Group Fitness Schedule, with the exception of CrossFit. Participants can attend anytime during the week and there is no limit to how many classes one can attend.  

Registration is available via Eventbrite. Classes began Aug. 26. A schedule of available fall classes is online.  

Register now for mindfulness meditation class series
This eight-week class will run every Tuesday from 12:05 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. and Thursday from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Participants can attend one day or both days. Registration is available via Eventbrite.

New outdoor workout equipment on campus 
If you’ve wondered what the jungle-gym-like structures dotting the perimeter of the Marquette campus are, those are new outdoor workout stations courtesy of the Wellness Initiative Fund and Rec Sports. Instructions and demos on how to use the equipment are online.  

Contact Kristin Kipp if interested in doing a group tour and demo.

The Mayor’s Walk 100 Finale — Sept. 6 at noon
The annual one-mile Mayor’s Walk will take place in Cathedral Square Park. The first 150 people into the park will enjoy a free lunch.

Guided walking tour of sculptures in Milwaukee — Sept. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Presented by the Haggerty Museum of Art and Marquette Wellness, this guided tour will allow participants to learn about the pieces included in this year’s Sculpture Milwaukee display.  

The tour will be led by Sculpture Milwaukee’s special project manager, Brian Pfister. Sculpture Milwaukee 2019 features 22 art works by 20 emerging, mid-career and blue-chip artists.  

The walk will be approximately 1.5 miles long. Rain date for the event is Thursday, Oct. 10, at 11:30 a.m. More information and registration is available via Eventbrite.
