Marquette encourages students, faculty and staff to attend the upcoming free screening of “Unlikely,” a documentary that tells the stories of five individuals who have been failed by the higher education system as they fight for a second chance at opportunity. The screening will take place on Sunday, Sept. 22, at 11:30 a.m. at the Oriental Theatre (2230 N Farwell Ave.).
Created by filmmakers Jaye and Adam Fenderson, “Unlikely” investigates America’s college dropout crisis and the barriers students face in their pursuit of an education and meaningful career.

A panel discussion will take place following the film at Good City Brewing (2108 N. Farwell Ave.). This event is free, however registration is required via Eventbrite.
