The Faber Center on Thursday, Sept. 26, will host a communal Moment of Reflection for faculty and staff amid the recent changes Marquette has experienced. The gathering will take place from noon to 12:45 p.m. in the AMU’s Chapel of the Holy Family. A light lunch will follow.
“Over the past few weeks, Marquette has experienced many changes, which can raise a host of feelings and reactions that take time to appropriate,” said Faber Center Director Michael Dante. “At times like this, it is important to come together as a university community, pause and be present to one another. Sharing our experience and supporting others in theirs is a powerful moment for our community.”
Additionally, faculty and staff are encouraged to:
- Contact the Faber Center for pastoral care and support
- Contact the Office of Mission and Ministry to connect with any of the Jesuits on campus
- Visit the campus’ many Sacred Spaces for reflection, prayer or simply to gather one’s thoughts
