The Friends of the Haggerty Museum of Art will host the 2019 Fall unGALA: Surrealist Ball on Saturday, Sept 7, at the WE Energies Public Service Building.
The unGALA is an annual fundraising event for the Haggerty Museum of Art’s learning and community engagement initiatives. Inspired by Salvador Dali’s “Madonna of Port Lligat“, one of the most beloved paintings in the Haggerty’s collection, the event will celebrate all things Surreal through an evening that promises to be creative, fun, and deeply impactful.
Following the Spanish theme, food will be catered by Amilinda with entertainment by Nabori. An auction will also feature exclusive items, such as a private tour of CNN in New York City, a five–course dinner and wine experience with Peter Sandroni of La Merenda and the opportunity to be a DJ on WKLH.
All funds raised from the unGALA will support Haggerty’s exhibitions, learning initiatives and collaborative community programs.
Tickets for the unGALA are $275. Tickets for the After Party are $50. Guests are encouraged to wear “creative cocktail attire.” There will be a prize for the individual with the best Surrealist-inspired attire.
