Faculty members who are eligible for sabbatical in the 2020–21 academic year are reminded to submit their sabbatical review plans to the Office of the Provost by Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Sabbatical plans must be approved by the unit dean or designated representative before submission. It is essential that faculty members submit their plans by the Oct. 15 deadline to allow enough time for academic units to coordinate schedule and staffing adjustments for the following academic year.
Submitting sabbatical reports
Faculty members who completed a sabbatical during the 2018–19 academic year are also reminded to submit their sabbatical reports to the Office of the Provost by Tuesday, Oct. 15. Sabbatical reports must also be approved by the unit dean or designated representative before submission.
The Sabbatical Review Committee is composed of eight tenured members and is chaired by Dr. Carla Hay, associate professor of history.
More information about the sabbatical program as well as requirements for sabbatical plans can be found online.
Plans and reports should be submitted by the deadline to Peter Kovochich, administrative assistant in the Office of the Provost, copying Sally Doyle, assistant provost for budget and division operations.
Questions may also be directed to Kovochich.
