The Marquette community is invited to celebrate Mass of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 6 p.m. at Church of the Gesu.
Mass will be followed by fellowship with ice pops by Pete’s Pops at the Henke Court (the green space at the northeast corner of Wisconsin Avenue and 12th Street across from Gesu’s main entrance).
Ice pop flavors will include:
- Blue Moon aka (Marquette blue)
- Pineapple Jalapeno aka (Marquette gold)
- Salted Watermelon
- Horchata
- Cantaloupe Melon

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a tradition among Jesuit academic institutions dating to 1548 in which the community gathers to thank God for the gifts of creation and salvation and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit in the coming year. Learn more about this tradition online.
