Open sit meditation – June 18 through Aug. 15
Open sit meditation will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15 p.m. through 12:45 p.m. in the AMU Interfaith Prayer and Meditation Room. No instruction will be offered. This will be an opportunity for experienced meditators or beginners to sit in a room with the support of others sitting around them. No registration is needed.

Office Olympics Step Challenge through Virgin Pulse – July 15 through 19 
Join a team for a week long step challenge and walk your way to gold using the Virgin Pulse wellness portal. The step challenge will take place from July 15 through July 19.  Registration for the activity opens on June 25.  

If you are participating in the Office Olympic games on July 17, the step challenge will be scored as one of your team’s events.  

Earn 500 bonus points on Virgin Pulse for participating in this step challenge. Plus, those who average 7,000, 10,000 or 14,000 steps per day, will earn additional bonus points. 

Office Olympics – Summer Games 2019 
Get a team together and compete against employees across campus in the Summer 2019 Office Olympics event. Five people are needed per team to compete.  Teams will pick one, 30-minute time block for which to sign up.  

This year, each team will compete in a week-long step challenge as well as the event day games on July 17. Prizes will be awarded for overall winner, best team costume and most creative team name. 

Spectators are welcome to watch the competition. Refreshments, giveaways and games will be available. 

Game day events will take place on July 17 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Engineering South Lawn.
