An update from Dr. Felicia Miller, chair of the College of Business Administration Dean Search Committee, and Dr. Rosemary Stuart, chair of the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences Dean Search Committee

June 24, 2019

Dear Marquette community,

We hope that summer is going well. We are writing to provide a brief update on the searches for deans in the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business Administration.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the listening sessions hosted by the search committees this spring and to those who submitted feedback in writing. Your insights were tremendously helpful in the development of Opportunity and Challenge Profiles, which provide an overview of Marquette and outline in detail the key opportunities and challenges that each dean will face.

On behalf of the search committees, we are pleased to share the profiles with you:

Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
Keyes Dean of the College of Business Administration

Isaacson, Miller, the executive search firm assisting Marquette, has begun the process of seeking out candidate pools for each search. We are asking for your help. Please share the Opportunity and Challenge Profiles throughout your own professional networks, and share any nominations you may have via the websites:

Arts and Sciences
Business

Initial screening of candidates by the search committees will begin early in the new academic year, so please consider nominating candidates. You can see more details on the process section of the search websites:

Arts and Sciences
Business

Thank you in advance for your help in these important searches.

If you have any questions throughout this process, please don’t hesitate to email either of us at felicia.miller@marquette.edu or rosemary.stuart@marquette.edu. The search committees are committed to fair, transparent processes that are broadly consultative and which are clearly communicated to the college and campus communities.

We hope that you have a great summer.

Sincerely,

Felicia Miller
Chair and Associate Professor of Marketing and chair of the search committee for the Keyes Dean of the College of Business Administration

and

Rosemary Stuart
Professor of Biological Sciences and chair of the search committee for the dean of the Helen Way Klingler College of Arts and Sciences
