Marquette to partner with Elgin Community College

May 10, 2019

Marquette University has established a formal partnership offering guaranteed admission for Elgin Community College students. This agreement allows qualified students to plan their transfer in advance by drawing on Marquette’s advising resources to ensure a smooth transition. Elgin Community College, located in Elgin, Ill., serves approximately 9,000 enrolled students in both credit and non-credit programs.

Qualified students that follow Elgin’s associate of arts or associate of science degree option can earn an A.A. or A.S. while also earning many transferable credits toward nearly any Marquette undergraduate program. This partnership marks the sixth guaranteed admission agreement Marquette has created to assist students in planning their transfer pathway.
