The Academic Subcommittee for the Convention Steering Committee invites and encourages all interested faculty and staff to attend a brainstorming session at the Marquette Union Sports Annex on Thursday, May 9, at 4 p.m.
The committee would appreciate feedback on the following questions:
- How do you plan to get involved with the 2020 Democratic National Convention?
- In what ways does the 2020 Election create opportunities for you/your department to engage students, the community and campus?
- What is your “big idea” for Marquette in anticipation of the next election cycle and the events coming to Milwaukee in the run-up to the convention?
No idea is too big or too small. Join faculty and staff from across campus as the subcommittee begins planning for this opportunity, and feel free to share this information with faculty and staff who might also be interested.
Appetizers will be served, and there will be a cash bar.
