Marquette University mourns the loss of Ramon “Ray” Klitzke, professor emeritus for the Law School. Klitzke passed away on Friday, March 29, at the age of 90.
Klitzke served as a professor of law at Marquette from 1966 to 1994. During his time at Marquette, Klitzke also served as the director of the Institute of Poverty and the Law and clinical director of the Marquette Juvenile Law Program. Upon retirement, the university honored him as a professor emeritus. Klitzke was also a longtime member of the Marquette University Retiree Association and served as recorder for 22 years.
A visitation will take place on Friday, April 5, from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 4 p.m. More information is online.
