Dear faculty and staff,
We need your involvement! Faculty and staff opinions are important in helping us gain a better understanding of morale, job satisfaction, and the strength of our university-wide processes and procedures. This understanding also informs senior leadership on how to best align strategic planning resources.
In 2017, the university conducted its first Employee Engagement Survey. The responses have been helpful to senior leadership in addressing ways we can improve job satisfaction, work relationships and organizational culture.
To continue these efforts, please join us in taking the 2019 Employee Engagement Survey, which will take about 15 minutes to complete. The survey will be available until Friday, May 10. Responses will be anonymous and no identifiable information will be accessible or available to the Human Resources Department or any other employees. We will not be able to trace individual responses back to you unless you identify yourself, so you should feel comfortable in being honest with your answers.
The results will be used to:
- Identify barriers to collaboration
- Inform the enhancement of our training and development programs
- Learn how our policies and procedures can be made more effective and efficient
- Identify problems that demotivate people, compromise job satisfaction or diminish performance
We encourage you to let your voice be heard. Our goal is 100% participation, and results will be shared this summer.
Thank you,
Dr. Kimo Ah Yun
