Last week, all employees received a letter from Acting Provost Ah Yun and Senior VP Pogodzinski regarding the 2019 Employee Engagement Survey, which is now live and will close on Tuesday, April 30.
The survey is available online and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and no identifiable information will be accessible or available to the Human Resources Department or any other employees. The university will not be able to trace individual responses back to you unless you identify yourself, so you should feel comfortable in being honest with your answers.
The Employee Engagement Survey is open to current Marquette employees. With questions, contact Wendy Butler, director of organizational development.
About the Employee Engagement Survey
Marquette conducted its first Employee Engagement Survey in 2017. The survey focuses on job satisfaction, work relationships and organizational culture.
Responses are anonymous and are used to help senior leadership gain a better understanding of morale, job satisfaction, and the strength of university-wide processes and procedures. This understanding also informs senior leadership on how to best align strategic planning resources.
The results will be used to:
- Identify barriers to collaboration
- Inform the enhancement of our training and development programs
- Learn how our policies and procedures can be made more effective and efficient
- Identify problems that demotivate people, compromise job satisfaction or diminish performance
