Marquette University mourns the loss of Susan Stang, who retired in 2015 after serving for many years as the director of field placement and licensure in the College of Education. Stang passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the age of 70.
Throughout her time in the college, Stang provided invaluable guidance to pre-service teachers as they worked through their field placements, student teaching and into their professional careers. An avid traveler and fashionista, Stang’s personality and warmth of heart served as shining examples of the university’s mission of cura personalis.
