Redeemer Lutheran Church to host prayer service this Sunday in honor of deceased man

March 29, 2019

From Pastor Lisa Bates-Froiland at Redeemer Lutheran Church

Early this morning, a man lost his life by violence outside Redeemer Lutheran Church near Marquette’s campus.

To honor the man who lost his life, Redeemer Church will host a prayer service this Sunday, March 31, at 11 a.m. at the corner of 19th Street and Wisconsin Avenue. The gathering will follow its regular 10 a.m. worship. In lieu of flowers, participants are encouraged to bring pairs of new socks that will be donated to members of the Milwaukee homeless community.
