Faculty and staff are encouraged to complete the Employee Engagement Survey, which will become available next month.
Employee opinions are important in helping the university gain a better understanding of morale, job satisfaction and the strength of campus-wide processes and procedures. This understanding also informs senior leadership on how to best align strategic planning resources.
The university’s goal is to receive 100% participation. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
Responses are anonymous and no identifiable information will be accessible or available to Human Resources or any other employees. Survey participants should feel comfortable providing honest feedback—individual responses will not be traced back to you, unless you identify yourself.
Results will be shared this summer and will be used to:
- Identify barriers to collaboration
- Inform the enhancement of training and development programs
- Learn how university policies and procedures can be made more effective and efficient
- Identify problems that discourage people, compromise job satisfaction or diminish performance
