Marquette University mourns the death of Yvonne Brodzik, accounts payable supervisor in the Office of the Comptroller. Brodzik passed away last Thursday Jan. 31, at age 56.
Brodzik had just celebrated her seven-year anniversary of working at Marquette. She is survived by her loving family, including her husband Kenneth, children Megan, Daniel and Stephanie plus many other relatives—a grandchild, siblings, nieces, nephews and friends. She will join her late son, George, in eternal life.
To celebrate Brodzik’s life and the impact she had on Marquette, there will be a prayer service on campus this Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family in the AMU.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community (9520 W. Forest Home Ave.) from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Girl Scouts of America and the Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk are appreciated. Special thank you to the Neurology Department and ICU at St. Luke’s.
An obituary is online. Please remember Brodzik, her family and friends in prayer.
