Campus Ministry and Marquette for Life will sponsor events on campus to commemorate the 2019 March for Life, which will be held in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Jan. 18.
During this time, Catholic institutions across the nation give thanks for human life and advocate to end threats to human life and dignity. All are welcome to participate in the following events:
- Friday, Jan. 18. | March for Life Day
As the March for Life begins in Washington, D.C., pray in solidarity with fellow Marquette students. Mass will be offered in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel at noon. Instruction cards for completing a personal solidarity prayer walk on campus will be distributed following Mass. - Tuesday, Jan. 22 | National Day of Prayer for Unborn Children
Join with thousands around the nation in prayer for unborn children, women experiencing crisis pregnancies, and for the development of greater means of support in our institutions and communities. Mass will be offered at the St. Joan of Arc Chapel at noon and 10 p.m. Prayer cards will be distributed. Community members are also encouraged to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Service at 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Family. - Thursday, Jan. 24 | Mass for Life
A Mass will be held in the St. Joan of Arc Chapel at noon with participants in various Respect Life movements around Milwaukee.
