December wellness events

Registration is open for group fitness and meditation classes. Group fitness classes will run Monday, Jan. 7, through Friday, April 19, 2019. Register online for these classes and purchase your all-access Fitpass or FitPass + CrossFit. Meditation classes will run every Tuesday and Thursday. Meditation classes are free and you can register online. Registration includes access to both days.  

December’s Promoted Healthy Habit Challenge
December’s Promoted Healthy Habit Challenge will run Monday, Dec. 10, through Sunday, Dec. 16. The theme is “Over Served: Did you check how many servings are in your packaged food today?” Join the challenge through Virgin Pulse and earn 200 points just for tracking.  

Weight Watchers Kickoff Meeting 
Weight Watchers at Marquette will hold a kickoff meeting the week of Monday, Jan. 14, 2019. The exact day and time is to be determined. This meeting will be the start of the first 26-week session, and if 20 or more people sign up on campus, onsite meetings can be offered. Total cost for a 26-week session is $242, which includes digital tools.

Marquette will offer a payroll deduction option; participants may also pay via check, cash or credit card at the first meeting. Participants who attend 80 percent of the onsite meetings are eligible to receive a $60 reimbursement. This is a one-time per year reimbursement.

Sign up for Community Supported Agriculture Delivery Share Program
Three Sister’s Community Farm and St. Clare Garden offer onsite delivery for your produce needs. Shares are delivered June through mid-October. More information and registration can be found online.
