A presentation and discussion about how NIH grants are reviewed and how to encourage a positive review outcome will take place on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the AMU room 305. The presentation will be moderated by Research and Innovation Faculty Fellow Dr. Sandra Hunter.

Discussion topics will include what happens at an NIH Study Section panel meeting, how reviewers interact during a meeting, common features/characteristics of a well-scored grant and common features/characteristics of a poorly-scored grant. There will also be time for questions.
