Sexual Violence Prevention Education and the Student Wellness Center will host the White Ribbon Campaign on Monday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the AMU.
This campaign was started to help promote visibility of men who are allies and up-standers in promoting the end to gender-based violence. The event will offer students and faculty an opportunity to discuss how they can be advocates and help end gender-based violence. Students and faculty can take a pledge to help promote this change. Everyone who takes the pledge will receive a white ribbon that they can wear to show that they have taken the oath and will have the opportunity to write down who they are taking the oath for.
