First Campus Master Plan presentation is Friday; RSVP today

October 8, 2018

Editor’s note: A previous version of this story had incorrect information for the date, time and location of this event; the event is Friday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon in AMU Ballroom E. Marquette Today regrets the error.

Lora Strigens, vice president for planning and facilities services, will host the first of three separate Campus Master Plan presentations on Friday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon in AMU Ballroom E  to provide the campus community with the opportunity to learn about progress on the plan and what’s to come. Strigens’ presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Please RSVP to Katie Klamecki in the Office of Planning and Facilities Management.

The other two identical presentations will be held:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2 p.m. — AMU Ballroom E
  • Monday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m. — AMU Ballroom E

Some of the projects Strigens will highlight are: recent infrastructure improvements; new green spaces, including North Common, Henke Terrace and the Marian Grotto; interior academic spaces, including Johnston Hall, Cudahy Hall and Engineering Hall; The Commons; the Athletic and Human Performance Research Center; and the new Physician Assistant Studies facility.
