Community Engagement will host listening sessions for faculty and staff on the following dates:
- Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the AMU ballrooms
- Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Sensenbrenner Hall, the Eisenberg Reading Room
These events are a part of the Community Engagement Task Force 2.0, convened by Provost Daniel J. Myers this past summer with support from President Michael R. Lovell and in partnership with Executive Director of Community Engagement Dr. Dan Bergen.
The goal of the task force is to explore ways in which Marquette can institutionalize community engagement, in the context of our mission. Working teams of faculty and staff have been established to complete SWOT analyses and research best practices from the perspective of a Marquette colleague.
In an effort to gain broad input, all are encouraged to participate these listening sessions as part of your work on Marquette’s mission. The events are hosted by Bergen, Dr. Gary Meyer, Lynn Mellantine, Dr. Kathy Coffey-Guenther and Dr. Theresa Tobin.
Register online for the Oct. 10 and Oct. 16 sessions. Contact Bergen with questions.
