The Center for Cyber Security Awareness and Cyber Defense will host the 2018 Colloquium on Cyber Security Awareness on Friday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon in the AMU.
The center is supporting National Cyber Security Awareness Month by offering this half-day colloquium. There will be three components:
- Internationally recognized cyber experts will speak on avoiding unforeseen cyber threats.
- There will be an update on local efforts addressing cyber security awareness in K12 schools and districts.
- A panel of local industry experts will discuss cyber security awareness measures and measurements.
Provost Daniel J. Myers will kick off the meeting and share an exciting recognition that the university recently earned for its excellence in cyber security.
