The Center for Gender and Sexualities Studies, the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion, and the Office of Community Engagement are excited to welcome Dr. Leith Mullings to campus as the 2018 Ralph H. Metcalfe Chair and Intersectionality Lecture Series speaker.
Mullings is a distinguished professor of anthropology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Mullings will present her work on the “Sojourner Syndrome” in her speech titled, “Sojourner Truth and Black Lives Matter: Health, Stress and Resilience,” at the Intersectionality Lecture Series on Monday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m. in the AMU ballrooms.
