Task force seeking input on partner hires

September 17, 2018

Dr. Gary Meyer, senior vice provost for faculty affairs, has convened a 10-person task force to consider current Marquette practices as well as best practices in and outside of higher education around partner hires. The task force is interested in learning more about the experiences of Marquette employees, both faculty and staff, either hired by Marquette who had a partner also seeking employment (at Marquette or elsewhere) or hired by Marquette as a partner of someone who was also hired by Marquette (primary hire).

Individuals willing to share their experience can do so via focus group or in writing. Two focus groups are being offered, Tuesday, Oct. 2, from noon to 1:15 p.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 3, from noon to 1:15 p.m.  Click your preferred date to register for one of the focus groups. Space is limited to 10 individuals per group and lunch will be provided. If you are unable to attend a focus group and/or prefer to share your experience in writing, please contact either Meyer or Kristin Kipp, director of employee wellness, who will forward a short questionnaire. Questions about the task force more generally may be directed to Meyer.
